Musical instruments inspired by the expression "It's music to my ears"- "É música para os meus ouvidos"

With different animals shapes, these wooden instruments allow to explore different sounds and shapes:

The friendly crocodile/rectangle (which is accompanied by a “drumstick”) will allow to recreate the sound of the “reco-reco”.

The small "big" elephant/square (also accompanied by a “drumstick”) is inspired by a “sound block”.

The shy fish/triangle is inspired by the sound of “maracas”.

The restless bird/circle recreates the sound of “castanets”.

Note:

The instruments are sold individually or in a set of 4 (set 4).

The object comes with an illustration 10 cm x 15 cm, which illustrates the portuguese expression to which it refers and explains its meaning, and that can be framed.

All articles are handmade in wood. Therefore, may present slight variations when compared to the ones on the pictures.

Care and Maintenance

For a daily cleaning, wipe with a dry cloth.
For a deep cleaning, wipe with a cloth dampened with water and immediately dry.

Shipping and Delivery

Standard shipping to Europe takes about 5-10 business days. All pieces are shipped with CTT, DPD or GLS to Europe. Shipping to the rest of the world takes between 15 to 25 business days. Orders are shipped with CTT.

Portuguese Expression

"It’s music to me ears" - "É música para os meus ouvidos" is an expression used in the Portuguese language when someone wants to show pleasure for what is being said (as if it was pleasant music).

All SO-SO objects are designed and handmade in our studio in Cascais - Lisbon. We believe that this slow process of craftwork, where each piece takes its time to come to life, makes them unique and singular.
