Toucan and Parrot inspired by the expression "Bring water on the beak" - "Trazer água no bico".

Inspired by nature, our wooden parrot and toucan are designed and handmade in Portugal. 
Their tail moves, so they can be placed on a shelf’s corner or on a table. Their simple and minimal design fits different environments: whether is a nordic inspired living room, a midcentury bedroom or a modern and colorful entryway.  
They are a sophisticated and playful decorative element.

Note:

The object comes with an illustration 10 cm x 15 cm, which illustrates the portuguese expression to which it refers and explains its meaning, and that can be framed.

All articles are handmade in wood. Therefore, may present slight variations when compared to the ones on the pictures.

Care and Maintenance

For a daily cleaning, wipe with a dry cloth.
For a deep cleaning, wipe with a cloth dampened with water and immediately dry.

Shipping and Delivery

Standard shipping to Europe takes about 5-10 business days. All pieces are shipped with CTT, DPD or GLS to Europe. Shipping to the rest of the world takes between 15 to 25 business days. Orders are shipped with CTT.

Portuguese Expression

"Bring water on the beak" - "Trazer água no bico" is an expression used in the Portuguese language when an action raises suspicions.
The expression is originated in the maritime language, where beak means ship’s bow. When a ship sails with "water by the beak" means that it goes against the current, being more vulnerable to unpredictable and treacherous hazards.
