Rocking boat inspired by the expression "Watching Ships" - "Ficar a ver navios".

This boat will make everyone dream, with its balance, invoking the discovery of new adventures ...

It consists of three parts: the body of the boat and two sails, which can be placed in the desired position.

Note:

The object comes with an illustration 10 cm x 15 cm, which illustrates the portuguese expression to which it refers and explains its meaning, and that can be framed.

All articles are handmade in wood. Therefore, may present slight variations when compared to the ones on the pictures.

Care and Maintenance

For a daily cleaning, wipe with a dry cloth.
For a deep cleaning, wipe with a cloth dampened with water and immediately dry.

Shipping and Delivery

Standard shipping to Europe takes about 5-10 business days. All pieces are shipped with CTT, DPD or GLS to Europe. Shipping to the rest of the world takes between 15 to 25 business days. Orders are shipped with CTT.

Portuguese Expression

"Watching Ships" - "Ficar a ver navios" is an expression used in the Portuguese language to express the idea of ​​having been waiting for something that did not happen.
The origin of the expression is not known but is believed that it is originated in the people watching the sea in the hope of the return of King D. Sebastião, but they ended up “watching ships ...”
Another theory suggests that the expression is originated in the French Invasions, which led the portuguese king to escape to Brazil. When Junot's troops arrived in Lisbon, they only “saw the ships” escaping.
